Today we joined society again. We set alarm clocks, ate fast food, filled the car with gas, and Jason even got a hair cut. I have loved the past three days, but I’m ready for the Pedraza house to return to its normal routine. I realize that If we had snow days every day then we wouldn’t get to enjoy them as such. It was funny, on Friday while we were walking to O, Jason said, “See, if we lived in Indiana it would be like this all the time.” I replied, “If we lived in Indiana, you’d be at work right now.” And it’s true. The most special times in our lives are special because they are not the norm. That is why I praise God for the norm. As long as there is always a little normalcy in our lives there will continue to be special occasions to celebrate.
