Catchin’ Up

I haven’t written in a while because it doesn’t seem like anything interesting has been going on.  (Note to self: Don’t start a blog at the same time a snow storm hits. It will make everything else in life seem boring and not worth writing about.)

I guess there is one major thing going on.  I have a “crick” in my neck that won’t go away.  It is painful every second of every day and I cannot find relief.  I even took a muscle relaxer last night, but I think this morning it was worse than ever.  It hurts to lay down because of the pressure it puts on my neck and it hurts to sit and stand because I have to hold my neck up.  It’s all I’ve thought about for the past 3 days.  When will it end!?

The other thing happening here is that I semi-organized my first Republican Party event.  I was in charge of food and drinks for our new headquarters.  I had about 8 people bringing different things, all people that I didn’t really know before this event.  It went off without a hitch, and I got a lot of compliments about how organized I was and how well everything turned out.  I was really pleased.  That kind of stuff is fun for me. 

I guess that is about all.  Oh, I remember, the other day I watched My Sister’s Keeper.  I was going to write about how it was like watching a 2 hour St. Jude Commercial, even though they never mentioned the hospital by name.  It made me think about how their motto is to be thankful for the healthy kids in your life and to help the ones who aren’t.  I was hesitant to watch that movie because I had heard it was sad, but I am so glad I watched it.  It was a wonderful movie.  The cast did an amazing job!

Okay, that is officially all.  I am on stand-by to fly tomorrow, and I am supposed to make campaign calls and go door knocking Saturday and Sunday, but other than that, not much else is going on.  Hopefully no more rain or snow.
