Snow Days Cont.

Jason is home from work again today because the base is closed.  So, round two of fun all day.  It feels like we are home from school, and there are few things more fun than that.  My plan is to post pictures throughout the day to keep everyone updated on the winter wonderland that is our yard.  Our plan for the day:  I got up at 11:30 and Jason got up at noon.  We went outside to take some pictures and play.  Next, we are gearing up for a walk to our favorite restaurant, O Asian Fusion (we called ahead to make sure they are open).  Jason is letting me borrow his old combat boots so that both our feet can stay warm.  We have vowed to actually buy snow boots this year.  I mean who lives in Snowklahoma without owning a pair of snow boots!  Then, we will hit blockbuster on our way home and spend the remainder of the day sipping hot chocolate and watching movies.  Last night I discovered that Jason has never seen Casablanca.  I saw it for the first time last month and I think today would be the perfect day for him to see it too.  Now for the pics I promised:

Enjoy the pics.  We’ll keep you posted.  In the mean time, we are on our way out the door into the freezing temperatures in order to get a nice warm meal. 

It’s 5:00 now.  We got home about 45 minutes ago, and almost immediately started playing in the snow.  Large flakes have been coming down all day.  All of the pics I’m about to show you were all taken between 3:00PM and 5:00PM.

For the first time ever we actually encouraged Bub to go outside.      

Then, we went back to the front yard and played ourselves. 4:40PM

Now, we are cozying up and getting ready to veg all night!  Yeah!
