Sorry I don’t write much. Nothing interesting has happened! This is not me complaining. I like for my life to be just like I like my job - uneventful. If it is uneventful, then it is a success. Don’t get me wrong, I do like a little excitement every now and then, but I prefer the planned excitement. I do not take my boring life for granted. God, did you hear me? I do not take it for granted. Thank you that nothing eventful has taken place lately. I haven’t locked my keys in the car. I haven’t run out of gas. My house has not caught on fire. I have not broken any bones, and above all, I have not had any situations on an aircraft. Lord, thank you for my boring life. Please keep it this way.
Just for fun, here are some pics of Perla’s kids playing with Brinkley. Brinkley is SO good with them.
Perla and the kids came over for coffee on Sat morning. (The kids didn’t actually have any coffee.) This is a fairly regular (like at least once per week) event for us. I love hanging out with them. But, sadly, they are moving at the end of this month. Since Calyn moved in January this only leaves me with one friend in Norman, and she stays very busy. I am going to have make more friends some how.
This week, I drove to Bville on Sunday night and I will be here until Friday night. I watched the girls again tonight. It was uneventful, thank goodness. Oh, by the way. I got in trouble for saying “Oh My Gosh”. The four year old told me that Jesus doesn’t like it when we say that so from now on I have to say “Oh My Goodness”. I don’t want to show any pics of the girls until I have permission from their parents, but here is me picking them up from school. The four year old wanted me to wear the tiara. I think the six year old was embarrassed. She told me to take it off! =)
